All patients at the practice have a named GP. Your GP is responsible for the coordination of your health care and services. When you register at the practice you will be told which GP's list you have been put on and you will be asked to see this GP when attending the medical centre. If you do not know which GPs list you are on then please ask at reception or ring in.

MBChB, DRCOG, MRCGP, Birmingham, 2011. Sean joined the Holsworthy practice in January 2018 after a prior career as an ergonomist. He has a particular interest in acute/emergency medicine. In his spare time Sean enjoys surfing and scuba diving, as well as film-making. |

Training Practice
We are recognised as a training practice to teach qualified doctors and student doctors the skills of general practice. These doctors are qualified and registered. As part of their training, we sometimes make video recordings whilst they conduct a consultation, in order for other doctors at the practice to give feedback. Your consent will always be asked for before any such recordings are made and you can withdraw consent at the end of the consultation if you change your mind. We also train apprentices across our three sites, under the supervision of Exeter College. |

RGN Dip Prof Studies in Nursing. HOLSWORTHY. Hannah provides general medical care. She has worked as a practice nurse since 1999 prior to which she worked in general surgery at NDDH. She is involved in running the Coronary Heart Disease clinic. She also has an interest in leg ulcer and wound management. |

Reception
Our team leaders are: Jane Lake (Hatherleigh dispensing team), Lynne Vallance (Prescriptions), Tracey Horton (Secretaries), Claire Haggarty (Clinical Administration), Emma Willmott-Goss (Patient Services Stratton) and Tracy Lynn (Patient Services Holsworthy). Our Patient Services team members answer the phone, deal with enquiries and make appointments, asking brief questions only to enable them to direct you to the most appropriate clinician or allied health professional. Their job is very demanding so please be patient. We are currently training apprentices across the three sites. |

The primary healthcare teams, including the midwives, community nurses, health visitors, mental health community workers, school nursing service etc. all work in locations in Holsworthy, Stratton/Bude and Okehampton (serving Hatherleigh) and can be contacted easily through the medical centres. |

Dawn is one of the Social Prescribers employed by the Primary Care Network. She has clinics at Stratton, Neetside and Bradworthy Surgeries. Dawn has worked at Holsworthy since 2013, but has been our PCN Social Prescriber since July 2019. |
David Cook
Dave is one of our new First Contact Physiotherapist and works for the Primary Care Network across six sites locally. He started in April 2020 along with Kate. |
